I never received the SMS containing the link to start my identity verification

Overview 


As part of the online identity verification process, users must scan and upload their identity documents using a smartphone or tablet and take at least one selfie photo. A mobile device is required, as most laptops or workstations do not have a camera to capture the high-quality images required for identity verification.


When beginning the identity verification process, users are instructed to enter their mobile phone number to receive an SMS containing the link to the web application that will be used for scanning and uploading the images.




We currently support text messages to all customers in the United States and India.



If you never received the SMS containing the link to start your identity verification


If you have not received an expected SMS message, please try the following:


       1. Double-check that your phone number and country code are correct


       2. Try waiting sixty seconds and requesting the SMS again.


Customers who are still experiencing difficulties should contact us at support@1kosmos.com. Please include the following information in your email: 


  • Email address linked to your account 
  • Country code and phone number you are trying to send the link to
