How do I reset my password?

Password reset overview 


Users always have the option to reset their password at any time by using the BlockID Mobile Application. If you forget your password, resetting your password is the only option. 


What you'll need to reset your password 


  • Access to the email linked to your account
  • Access to the phone number linked to your account to receive an SMS OTP
  • BlockID Mobile Application installed and linked to your account (if using BlockID Mobile Application to reset password)

Reset your password online 


Please use the following steps to reset your password online using our web application. 


       1. Navigate to your tenant sign-in page. Click Username to switch from the QR code sign-in to the username sign-in method. 




       2. Enter the email address associated with your account and click Next. 



      3. Click Password & OTP


      

       4. Click Forgot Password?


      

       5. Enter the email address associated with your account and click Proceed


        6. Next, check your email inbox for the message just sent to you. Click Reset your password



      7. Clicking the link will open the reset password page. You will also receive an SMS on the phone number linked to your account. The SMS will contain a six-digit OTP. 


     8. Enter the six-digit OTP you received and your new password. Click Reset Password to save your new password.



      9. Once your new password has been saved, you will be redirected to the sign-in page and can proceed to log in to your account. 




Reset your password using the BlockID Mobile Application 


Users can alternately reset their password using the BlockID Mobile App, provided they have linked a mobile device to their account. Please see How do I link a device to my account? for instructions on how to link a device. 

 


Please use the following steps to reset your password using the BlockID Mobile Application.


       1. Open and unlock the BlockID Mobile App using your enrolled biometrics. 


       2. Click the user icon in the upper-left corner of the screen to access the Manage Accounts screen.


      3. Under your account name, click Reset Password. If you do not see your account listed, please see How do I link a device to my account?

 


      4. Enter a new password. Click Ok to save your new password. 




        5. A message will display informing you that you have successfully reset your password.
