Problem
When the user chooses to authenticate to BlockID AdminX via Security Key, user receives “The security key does not look familiar. Please try a different one” popup message
Solution
This error might occur when the user tries to authenticate an unregistered FIDO2 device.
Steps
- Authenticate to AdminX using any one of other Authentication methods (except FIDO)
- Register a security key via instructions mentioned at https://docs.1kosmos.com/productdocs/docs/fido-authenticators#frequently-asked-questions
- Logout from BlockID AdminX and authenticate again using Security Key option
